A filming pandemic no more

During COVID, we were worried that it would take a lot of time for us to begin filming again. While we were mentally gearing up for a whole year of no work, apps like Zoom gathered momentum with a few tiny, smart gadgets with the ability of doing ‘Black Magic’ being introduced in the market. When we were first approached for remote filming, the idea was uncomfortable. How do we manage things? Do we lose control? What was the guarantee that the end result would be as good as before. For us, it was like stepping into unknown territory.

Surprisingly, it seems to be working pretty well, maybe even more effectively in some cases. We’re still filming. We’re delivery quality work and our clients are happy.

In fact, now we’re enjoying it. Every day brings on a new challenge, with that a million ideas and the opportunity to learn something new.

Our productivity has not been affected at all. All credit to our incredible infrastructure, experience and talent we’ve cumulated over the years.

How we have managed and what we have learned are very simple. It all starts with working with the right people - talented people you trust, who have the passion to create something exciting and who with their knowledge, experience and positivity reassure the client that things will be done the way they are supposed to do. Such people find solutions to obstacles and go an extra mile to sort things. Sometimes when stuck, they don’t hesitate to reach out for help even when they’ve made mistakes. Thankfully, that’s always been the criteria for the crew Angles works with. It does take a Pandemic to reinforce your belief all along. It’s really never all about the technology. It is about the people and the open, fearless communication that builds trust.

The process in remote filming is streamlined, there’s the excitement of venturing into the new. Remember the awe and ripples when we switched from tapestock to media cards?

Somewhat like that. A new step however, processes are slow; they keep changing - evolving rather; adapting to the situation and with that, you’ve got to adapt too. They are transparent, clear and effectively highlight the objectives.

We’re fortunate that the media business is now picking up again and the physical obstacles of COVID are being overcome. Because of our investments in people, relationships, and learning in the past, we’re able to focus on doing good work, learn some more about ourselves, our clients, our partners and everyone whose paths cross ours. So we say, welcome to Angles Unlimited once again. We are ready and eager to serve you.
